OK.. So we have 2 black/white puppies (a boy and a girl) who look like their father Yankee.. and we called the b/w boy Yankee-Spunky and the girl – Girlfriend..
But what about the 4 blue merle boys? They actually all look very much like their mommy, Gina.. So, we call them Gino-1, Gino-2, Gino-3 and.. well you guessed it right, 
.. Gino-4.. VBG.
Thinking hard about the names for the merle boys..
#6 puppy is our only female. Just like her black/white brother (puppy #1), she is her father Yankee’s lookalike. She has hardly any white, except her front legs and chest, back feet and tip of the tail, and a thin white stripe on one side of her neck for a collar. This girl is the biggest puppy in the litter. We call her Girlfriend, ..
#5 blue merle male born right after midnight has an evenly speckled color, full blaze and collar with a merle spot on top of his neck.
#4 puppy is a blue merle male with a big black spot covering his left side, butt and left hind leg. He has a full collar and a black spot on top of neck going into the collar.
#3 puppy is a blue merle male, evenly speckled, but sporting a black butt, black right of head and a full blaze.
Puppy #2 arrived just a couple minutes later.. A blue merle male with a black saddle on his back, black right side of face and a black right ear..

On May 30th, 2008, Gina delivered 6 lovely healthy puppies.
There are 5 boys and 1 girl puppy. 2 black/white puppies (a boy and a girl) and 4 blue merle boys.
Gina had the pups in less then 4 hours. She is a great mom, nursing and cleaning her babies, and not opposed to show them to the visitors..
